U.S. to create list of 'unstable' nations
Every Muslim nation in the world is on that list!

Resistance shelling drives US to abandon barracks near ar-Ramadi.
Americans throw local families out of their homes and move in, using civilians as human shields.

The Wounded
In the cargo hold of a C-17 aircraft, soldiers treated at the Air Force Theater Hospital at Balad Air Base, north of Baghdad, await evacuation to a military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany.

A Life Changed by War

OCCUPIED BAGHDAD, Iraq - A U.S. soldier was killed in a non-hostile incident in Iraq.
The statement said the soldier died "in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom."

President Discusses Freedom and Democracy
We ask for God's blessings on the brave souls of Iraq, and God continue to bless the American people. Thank you. (Applause.)

Once Again, Bush Pulls the Plug on Democracy
The Secret Service says it is investigating the claims of three people who claim they were removed from President Bush's town hall meeting on Social Security last week after being singled out because of a bumper sticker on their car.

If George W. Bush were to hold up a carrot and call it a watermelon, the American news media would immediately begin calling carrots watermelons. That’s an undeniable fact. Equally undeniable is the fact that we have long passed the point when we can trust the American corporate media to report the news. But even more distressing is the fact that we now have reached the point when we cannot even trust them with the English language.

A new report says U.S. intelligence agencies haven't learned to share information, despite lessons of 9/11.
The panel was created last year to examine how U.S. intelligence could have been so embarrassingly wrong about Saddam Hussein's nonexistent WMD arsenal.

So, the trail of the lies that started a war goes from the White House, to the Pentagon, to the Office of Special Plans. But where was the OSP getting their information?
So, this is the trail of the lies that started a war, beginning at the White House, and via Dick Cheney moving upstream to the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans, under Wolfowitz and Feith, then from OSP to an parallel group operating out of Ariel Sharon's office in Israel.

The closest parallel I can think of to current American politics is Israel. There was a time, not that long ago, when moderate Israelis downplayed the rise of religious extremists. But no more: extremists have already killed one prime minister, and everyone realizes that Ariel Sharon is at risk.
America isn't yet a place where liberal politicians, and even conservatives who aren't sufficiently hard-line, fear assassination. But unless moderates take a stand against the growing power of domestic extremists, it can happen here.

It Can't Happen Here
Those who believe a police state can't happen here are poor students of history. Every government, democratic or not, is capable of tyranny. We must understand this if we hope to remain a free people.

Jeff Gannon is back -- at the National Press Club?, whose real name is James Guckert, resigned his job with the conservative Talon News last month after it was revealed he had used a pseudonym, had little journalism background, and had ties to male escort Web sites.

So when do we get invaded to remove the rogue government that spies on its own people, gases its own people during anti War protests, stages "terrorist" attacks, holds crooked elections, attacks other nations without cause, and uses torture on innocent people looking for WMD that don't exist?
