"How many people have been killed in the "effort to end terrorism" as compared to the number of people actually killed by terrorists? "

Condi Rice finally tells the truth

"But the fact of the matter is that when we were attacked on September 11, we had a choice to make. We could decide that the proximate cause was al-Qaeda and the people who flew those planes into buildings and, therefore, we would go after al-Qaeda and perhaps after the Taliban and then our work would be done and we would try to defend ourselves. Or we could take a bolder approach, which was to say that we had to go after the root causes of the kind of terrorism that was produced there, and that meant a different kind of Middle East. And there is no one who could have imagined a different kind of Middle East with Saddam Hussein still in power."I thought the reason we went into Iraq was because they had WMD’s? Members of the administration even outed an undercover CIA agent and smeared her husband in retaliation because somebody actually had the nerve to do a little fact checking on the lies that the White House told about Iraq's WMD capabilities.

Criticism of Harriet Miers as an unqualified crony of the president is unfounded, unqualified crony Condoleezza Rice said Sunday!

Bush on Wednesday said, "People are interested to know why I picked Harriet Miers. "They want to know Harriet Miers' background. They want to know as much as they possibly can before they form opinions. Part of Harriet Miers' life is her religion."

Five U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq bombing

At least 1,975 members of the U.S. military have died since the war began.

Every U.S. soldier takes an express and solemn oath to “support and defend the Constitution.” That oath, however, is a sham because the troops do not support or defend the Constitution. Instead, when it comes to war the troops follow another oath they take — to obey the orders of the president, and they do this without regard to whether such orders violate the Constitution.

Isn’t it ironic that, even as the troops waging war in Iraq exhort the American people to support them, the troops, by invading Iraq without the constitutionally required congressional declaration of war, have failed to support the Constitution?

Vice President's role in outing of CIA agent under examination, sources close to prosecutor say
http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Cheneys_role_in_outing_of_CIA_1012.html
Special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald is trying to determine whether Vice President Dick Cheney had a role in the outing of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame-Wilson, individuals close to Fitzgerald say. Plame’s husband was a vocal critic of prewar intelligence used by President George W. Bush to build support for the Iraq war.

Gitmo detainees sue the American president
I think all of us should sue the President for lying us into a war. And we should sue for recovery of our tax money spent on this fraudulent war, PLUS DAMAGES.
The case is a simple one. The Constitution does not authorize the government to lie to the people and the Tenth Amendment prohibits the government from simply assuming that right. When the President lied to the people, he ceased acting as the President and acted as a private citizen with private motives. When Bush lied to the Congress, he invalidated the authorization for the use of force in Iraq. So the war is illegal by any interpretation of the law.
Our tax money and the lives of our loved ones were stolen from us through fraud and deceit, with malice aforethought. The laws prohibiting suing the government are only applicable when the government operates within the bounds of the Constitution and the limits of the law. Therefore, Bush and all his Neocon associates who created this war out of thin air are personally liable for the billions of dollars and thousands of deaths that resulted from their lies.
I demand justice on behalf of 288 million Americans. I demand checks to every American refunding the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus the cost of the war materials paid for in the years leading up to those wars and used up in the conflicts. I demand additional financial compensation for the families of every service person wrongfully sent to their deaths in these wars based on lies. And I demand punitive damages to send a message to future governments that the days when a people could be lied into a war with impunity are gone forever.
If this is a nation of laws and not of powerful men, now is the time, maybe even the final chance, for the courts to prove it.

So when do we get invaded to remove the rogue government that spies on its own people, gases its own people during anti War protests, stages "terrorist" attacks, holds crooked elections, attacks other nations without cause, and uses torture on innocent people looking for WMD that don't exist?
